º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø of Health and Science seeks an experienced nursing educator and leader to serve as Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at our New York campus. The BSN program integrates holistic and integrative health principles with contemporary nursing practice to prepare graduates who provide safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care across diverse populations.
The Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs serves as the academic and administrative leader for all aspects of clinical education within the BSN program. As a key member of the Dean’s leadership team, the Assistant Dean ensures that every clinical learning environment supports program outcomes, accreditation standards, and regulatory compliance while promoting excellence, equity, and innovation in clinical learning.
Responsibilities:
The Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of clinical education in the BSN program. This includes overseeing the clinical operations team, which manages student placements and scheduling, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare partners. The role also supports faculty development in clinical teaching and drives innovation in clinical curriculum and teaching/learning.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field (PhD, DNP, EdD)
- Minimum of 5 years nursing faculty experience including significant teaching experience in the clinical environment.
- Academic teaching experience at the pre-licensure nursing level
